        沪东中华造船(集团)有限企业是中国船舶工业集团企业旗下的核心企业,具有80多年深厚历史积淀。沪东中华年造船能力超过220万吨,年销售总额超过130亿元人民币。在沪东中华发展历程中建造过3000多艘各类舰船,创造了多项国内第一。 沪东中华主厂区分布在上海黄浦江下游两岸,占地100万平方米,码头岸线2600米,拥有360米×92米干船坞一座,配备二台700吨龙门吊;沪东中华还拥有12万吨级和8万吨级船台各1座,2万吨级船台2座,以及平面分段流水线、大型数控激光切割机、大型数控铣边机、LNG船绝缘箱流水线等一大批先进造船装备。建造产品涵盖多型军用舰船、超大型液化天然气船、超大型集装箱船、成品油船、原油船、散货船、特种船等上百种船型,以及海洋工程产品、超大型钢结构工程等产品,建造船型种类丰富、实力雄厚,是中国综合竞争能力最强造船企业之一。
      此外,沪东中华还拥有上海长兴、崇明两大分段制造基地,以及下属20多家投资企业,业务涵盖船舶修理和改装,各类船用下水件、管件、舾装件、阀门、电站、钢结构工程产品生产制造,以及围绕造船生产提供各种相关社会化配套服务,是中国造船产业链最完整的企业之一。   
      沪东中华拥有国家级企业技术中心,博士后科研工作站,拥有1400余名各类专业技术人才,在船舶研发、设计方面走在中国造船企业前列。尤其是在被誉为世界造船“皇冠上的明珠”的LNG造船及相关产业领域,沪东中 华是当之无愧的行业领军企业,包揽迄今中国五个LNG能源引进项目的16艘LNG船建造合同。已建成交付的6艘LNG船性能优异,运行良好。
      在LNG产业链延伸方面,企业依托集团大力支撑和国家能源局在我企业设立的LNG实验室,抓紧LNG船和相关装备研发,目前已经完成小型LNG船和 22万立方米特大型LNG船的设计。在穿梭LNG船、LNG-FPSO、LNG-FSRU、LNG海上转运和天然气动力技术等方面,也开展了深入的研究,其中穿梭LNG船、LNG海上转运技术研究已成功申报国家科技部863计划。
      沪东中华建立了四大数字造船信息管理系统,基本实现了设计、制造和管理的协同和集成。自主研发的SPD造船设计系统,在全国200多家企业和科研院所中得以应用。沪东中华造船工艺技术先进,实施精度造船技术,广泛应用预舾装、模块化安装工艺,建立了以中间产品为导向,组织生产的总装造船模式。沪东中华严格按照国际通行的质量标准建造船舶产品。
   沪东中华建立并运行了经ABS船级社认证的ISO9001的质量管理体系,同时和CCS船级社、ABS船级社、LR船级社、GL船级社、DNV船级社等世界主要船级社建立了长期友好合作关系。

      作为中国海军重要的装备生产基地,沪东中HUAWEI中国海军建造了新型导弹护卫舰、大型综合登陆舰、中型登陆舰、综合补给船、电子侦察船等一系列优质舰船,被誉为中国海军护卫舰的摇篮和登陆舰的摇篮。沪东中华还承担了多项国家军贸任务,为巴基斯坦、泰国、阿尔及利亚等国海军建造了一系列优质舰船。
      沪东中华的民用船舶产品有五大系列近40种船型。
      沪东中华是目前中国唯一有能力并成功建造大型液化天然气船的企业,建造的14.7万立方米大型液化天然气运输船获得了2008年度中国国际工业博览会金奖,2009年度国家能源科技进步一等奖。2012年度上海市科技进步一等奖。
      沪东中华是中国建造大型集装箱船的行业领军企业。先后建造过1714箱、2700箱、4250箱、5688箱、8888箱等各类集装箱船近30艘,更先进的13000箱超大型集装箱船已经研发成功。拥有自主常识产权的世界第六代超大型8888箱集装箱船获得2010年度上海市科技进步一等奖。
     沪东中华企业是中国最早进入海洋工程产品建造领域的造船企业之一。上世纪90年代建造的52000吨浮式储油船被评为“新中国60年十大名船”之一;企业建造的三用工作船深受各国船东青睐。 
      沪东中华建造的成品油船、原油船、散货船船型多样,适应世界不同航线的需求,110000吨成品油船受到国际市场的青睐,74500吨系列巴拿马型散货船在世界航运界享有“中国沪东型”之美誉,曾获得2002年度国防科工委科技进步一等奖。
      沪东中华在特种船舶建造领域拥有世界一流的竞争力。20000吨重吊船、17300吨多用途船、10000立方米LPG船、2500米车线滚装船、5000立方米挖泥船等均是特种船舶中的高端产品。
      沪东中华在大型钢结构制造领域也声誉卓著。先后承建了京城大厦、证券大厦、东方明珠天线桅杆、多座黄浦江跨江大桥、东方体育中心和市政高架路等超大型钢结构工程,填补了多项建筑业空白,创造了多项中国第一。

  Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. (“Hudong-Zhonghua”), with a history of over 80 years of shipbuilding, is a core enterprise under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). It has realized an annual shipbuilding capacity of over 2.2 million tons and annual turnover of 13 billion RMB. Over the years of development, Hudong-Zhonghua has built more than 3,000 vessels of various types and made breakthroughs in many fields in China.
    With major production areas located at both banks of the lower reaches of the Huangpu River, Hudong-Zhonghua covers an area of 1 million square meters and has a wharf line length of 2,600 meters. It is equipped with one 360m×92m dry dock, two 700-dwt gantry cranes, one 120,000-dwt class shipbuilding berth, one 80,000-dwt class shipbuilding berth, two 20,000-dwt class shipbuilding berths and varieties of up-to-date shipbuilding facilities, such as flat panel production lines, 
large NC laser cutting machines, large NC milling machines and insulation box production lines for LNG carriers, etc. It has a rich product mix variety, covering military vessels, ultra-large LNG carriers, ultra-large container vessels, product carriers, crude oil carriers, bulk carriers, specialized carriers as well as offshore engineering plants and ultra-large steel structures. Hudong-Zhonghua is one of the most competitive shipbuilding enterprises in China with rich product variety and enormous potentiality.
    Besides, Hudong-Zhonghua has owned two block fabrication bases at Changxing and Chongming islands and over 20 investment enterprises, with businesses covering ship repairs, conversions and manufactures of marine pre-launching items, piping items, outfitting items, valves, power stations and steel structures, as well as social services concerned with shipbuilding. It is one of the few shipbuilding enterprises in China with a complete shipbuilding link.   
    Hudong-Zhonghua has set up a state-class technology center and a post-doctoral R&D work station and employees more than 1,400 engineers and technicians with various majors. It has been among the top Chinese shipbuilders in ship development and design, especially the LNG carrier and related industry segments, which enjoys a fame of “pearl on the crown” in the global shipbuilding industry. Hudong-Zhonghua has been a leading player and won exclusively the 16 LNG carrier newbuilding contracts under five LNG import projects in China and all the six LNG carriers built and delivered by Hudong-Zhonghua are of superior performance and quality operation.
    Hudong-Zhonghua enjoys strong support from CSSC and depends on the LNG Lab under the National Energy Administration to extend the LNG industrial chain. It has made an extensive study on the LNG carriers and related equipment development and has succeeded in the design of small-scale LNG carriers and 220,000-cbm ultra-large LNG carriers. Meanwhile, it has also endeavored to make thorough studies on the shuttle LNG carriers, LNG-FPSO, LNG-FSRU, LNG shipping technology & LNG-fuel technologies, among which, the research projects for shuttle LNG carriers and LNG shipping technologies have been successfully listed in HTRDP 863 by the Ministry of Science & Technology.
    Hudong-Zhonghua has established a set of four digital shipbuilding information management systems, realizing integration and synergy of design, manufacture and management. The self-developed SPD shipbuilding design system has gained wide application in more than 200 enterprises and institutes in China.
    Hudong-Zhonghua, possessing advanced shipbuilding technologies, has implemented precision shipbuilding technology, where pre-outfitting and module assembly technologies have gained wide application. It has established a general assembly shipbuilding mode where production is organized with intermediate products oriented. Hudong-Zhonghua builds the vessel products to widely adopted international quality standards.
    Hudong-Zhonghua has established and implemented an ISO9001 quality management system certified by ABS. Meanwhile, it has built long-term friendly cooperation with major classification societies in the world, such as CCS, ABS, LR, GL and DNV.
    Hudong-Zhonghua always pays great attention to the customer demand and commits itself to offering competitive products and continuously creating maximum values for the customer as its mission. It has owned more than 100 premium customers in the world, established friendly partnership with world-renowned shipping companies and found its products all over the world.
    As a key outfit production base for the Navy, Hudong-Zhonghua has built a series of premium naval vessels, such as new-type missile frigates, large and intermediate type complex landing crafts, comprehensive replenishing vessels, electronic reconnaissance ships, etc. and has been honored as the cradles to frigates and landing crafts for the Navy. 
    Meanwhile, Hudong-Zhonghua has undertaken many state-class trading tasks of military products and built a series of premium military ships for the navies in Pakistan, Thailand, Algeria and etc.
    Hudong-Zhonghua offers about 40 types of commercial vessels and products in five series.
    It is the only enterprise in China that is competent and has successfully built large LNG carriers. The 147,000-cbm LNG carriers undertaken by Hudong-Zhonghua were awarded a gold medal by the China International Industry Fair in 2008, the First Class of National Science & Technology Advance Award for Energy Sources of 2009 and the First Class of Shanghai Municipal Science & Technology Advance Award of 2010.
     Hudong-Zhonghua takes the lead in building large type container vessels in China. It has built about 30 container vessels with capacities ranging from 1,714-teu, 2,700-teu, 4,250-teu, 5,688-teu and 8,888-teu. The six-generation ultra-large 8,888-teu container vessels with independent intellectual properties obtained the First Class of Shanghai Municipal Science & Technology Advance Award of 2010. In addition, a type of ultra-large 13,000-teu container vessel meeting the world trends has been successfully developed by Hudong-Zhonghua.
    Hudong-Zhonghua is one of the shipbuilding enterprises entering into the offshore engineering sector at the earliest in China. The 52,000-dwt floating storage offloading (FSO) unit built in the early 1990s was ranked among TOP 10 Brand Vessels built in 60 years since the foundation of PRC and the towing/anchor handling/supply vessel built by the Company won general popularity among the ship owners in the world.
    The product carriers, crude oil carriers and bulk carriers built by the Company have a broad product series and meet demands of different shipping lines in the world. The 110,000-dwt products carries are greatly favored in the international market and the 74,500-dwt panamax bulk carriers enjoys a fame of “China Hudong Type” among the world shipping industry, which obtained the first class of Science & Technology Advance Award of 2002 granted by COSTIND.

    Hudong-Zhonghua enjoys a strong competitive edge in the construction of specialized vessels, and high-end products built by the Company covers 20,000-dwt heavy lift vessels, 17,300-dwt multi-purpose vessels, 10,000-cbm LPG carriers, 2,500m lane length Ro-Ro carriers and 5,000-cbm dredgers, etc.

    Hudong-Zhonghua has earned a reputation in the fabrication of large type steel structures, and has undertaken many ultra-large steel structure projects, such as Capital Mansion, the Stock Exchange Building, the antenna and mast of Oriental Pearl Tower, many bridges crossing the Huangpu River, Oriental Sports Center, municipal viaducts, which have filled many gaps in the construction industry and created many TOP 1 in China.

    Hudong-Zhonghua always bears human-oriented development concept in mind. It is the very first shipbuilding enterprise that has obtained ISO14001:1996 Environment Management System certification and OHSAS18001:1999 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification awarded by Lloyds Quality Certification Company and established an advanced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system representing advanced safety management standard in the shipbuilding industry.
